VIBT organizes many leisure activities for students, which are either
free or offered at a very low price. Once becoming our student you
are welcome to join the activities organized by the College.
Field Trips
Field trips are part of VIBT ESL programs that are organized by ESL
instructors on Friday afternoons. These field trips are related to
ESL content and students are well informed about the places they are
going. Field trips can help students see more of the city and expose
them to Canadian culture. For students in the business programs, VIBT
will organize trips to local businesses, such as manufacturing companies,
lumber mills, wineries, etc. Field trips are part of the course, and
mandatory for students to attend. Many projects and research papers
are based on information gained during field trips.
Sports
The school arranges different sporting events for students. VIBT holds
an annual International Student Bowling Competition, which draws international
students from other International schools in Greater Vancouver to
the event. In addition, VIBT organizes sporting events, such as swimming,
skating, cycling, and golf at local golf courses. |
